GROOMING CENTER: THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CHECKLIST
The checklist is a very important and simple tool to use in your Grooming Center, and it can prevent some future problems and complaints. But first, it is important to check carefully on every pet that arrives at the beauty center, checking for possible injuries, or the presence of parasites, for example.
There are several forms of checklist you can make in your Grooming center. The most important thing is to include as much information as possible on it. In addition to basic information about the pet and the owner, you should include aesthetic procedures, such as: the grooming style chosen by the owner (machine, scissors or hygienic grooming), head style, which kind of mask or perfume to use, etc.
Other important information that should be included in the checklist are possible problems such as lesions in the eyes, skin, presence of parasites, skin problems, ear, etc.
The checklist ends up being a help tool and protects you, groomer, as it does not generate divergence of information about the service performed, when the owner comes back to pick up the pet.
Do not forget to ask the tutor to sign his pet's checklist, attesting that he is aware of the anamnesis findings and giving proper authorization to perform the services that will be performed. That way, in addition to you, the owner can also be more relaxed when leaving his pet with you.
