INJECTABLE CARPROFLEX 5.0%
Carproflex (Carprofen) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts on both acute and chronic inflammatory reactions. Carprofen exhibits analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity and is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation and pain in dogs.
Carproflex Injectable 5.0% should be administered subcutaneously (SC) for both dogs and cats.
Check the animal's weight in order to calculate the correct dose for the treatment.
Dogs: Therapeutic dose of carprofen is 4.4 mg/kg body weight every 24 hours. It can be used for up to 4 days safely.
Cats: Therapeutic dose of carprofen is 4.0 mg carprofen/kg bodyweight, given as a single dose.
Cartridge with 1 vial containing 20 mL.
