BATH ON STRAIGHT HAIR COAT DOGS
Straight and long coats need extra attention and differentiated work! To explain this, our groomer Schwttson Sttein prepared this simple step by step:
What we need:
- Dog&Co Pre-wash Shampoo (to ensure deep cleanliness of the coat);
- Dog&Co Color Shampoo (will guarantee a wonderful smell and softness to the coat, maintaining the color and shine);
- Dog&Co Absolute Straight Mask (hydrating, and enhancing even more the shine, softness and ensuring the perfect fit for this coat);
Steps:
- When using the Dog&Co Pre-Wash shampoo, apply it in a sectored way (eg, apply it first on one paw, rub, then apply on the other). After applying the Pre-Wash Shampoo all over the dog's fur, rub it a lot (while you leave the product acting, clean the pet's ear with Dog&Co Ear Cleaning Solution), and then rinse the dog;
- Second step: use Dog&Co Color Shampoo and do as the first step, applying the product by sectors, and this time start massaging the dog's coat. After completing the massage, rinse the entire animal and then remove excess of water for the next step: hydration;
- When using the mask, try to apply it only to the ends of the hair, thus avoiding excess product and leaving the hair very greasy! Right after applying the mask, let it act for 5 minutes (as it says on the label) and then remove it;
- Use a towel to dry the dog well. Then use a dryer and preferably a pin brush (no balls on the ends). I recommend this tool if you don't have a lot of practice with the skimmer. That way you'll dry the whole dog and of course, don't forget to finish off with a wonderful cologne!
